{"id":379,"date":"2018-12-21T16:49:31","date_gmt":"2018-12-21T16:49:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/touramericanyc.com\/blog\/?p=379"},"modified":"2018-12-21T16:52:03","modified_gmt":"2018-12-21T16:52:03","slug":"winterland-rooftop-pier-17-in-new-york","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/touramericanyc.com\/blog\/winterland-rooftop-pier-17-in-new-york\/","title":{"rendered":"Winterland Rooftop Pier 17 in New York"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A few days ago a new ice skating rink opened in the southern part of Manhattan called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pier17ny.com\/venue-rentals\/venue-rental-main-page\/skyline-hall.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Winterland<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It is located on Pier 17, a place that was closed for years since Hurricane Sandy passed through that area.<\/p>\n<p>Today the construction is over and Pier 17 looks fantastic.<\/p>\n<p>For the winter season there&#8217;s a skating rink with views of the Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State Building and the East River, something incredible and unique in the city.<\/p>\n<p>Schedule:<\/p>\n<p>Monday to Thursday: 11 am to 9 pm<br \/>\nFriday: 11 am to 11 pm<br \/>\nSaturdays: 10 am to 11 pm<br \/>\nSundays: 10 am to 9 pm<br \/>\nPrices:<\/p>\n<p>Off Peak (Monday to Thursday) Admission to the track + skates usd 22<br \/>\nPeak (Friday to Sunday) Admission to the track + skates usd 25<br \/>\nThe entrance to Pier 17 is at the intersection of Fulton and South Street, at 89 South Street and can be reached by subway, bus or ferry.<\/p>\n<p>They recommend not to go with bags or luggage.<\/p>\n<p>There is a bar and a restaurant where you can have a good time with excellent views if you do not want or do not dare to skate.<\/p>\n<p>The track will be open until Sunday, March 17, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A few days ago a new ice skating rink opened in the southern part of Manhattan called Winterland.
