What to do in Bryant park

Bryant Park after Central Park, is one of the most beautiful parks in the city which offers thousands of activities to do at any time you visit.

It opened in 1843 under the name Reservoir Park and changed its name to the current name in 1884 in tribute to the poet William Cullen Bryant.

It is located between 40th and 42nd streets and 5th and 6th avenues of Manhattan’s Midtown.

It is an oasis in the middle of the island, unmissable to visit at any time, these are the special events of the year:

During the month of June / July there is the Bryant Park Film Festival, where they give outdoor movies for free.
At the end of October the ice skating rink opens.
From November until the end of December a beautiful Christmas market takes place.
For the youngest there is a divine carousel, in addition to the winter skating rink and activities organized on weekends.

There are several food choices to make a stop and eat something while watching people go by on one of the many tables and chairs they have available to visitors.

A particularity of this park is that it has the best public baths in the city, not to be missed!

Ideal to combine this visit with the New York Public Library and Grand Central Terminal, the first one is on the same block and the other on 42nd Street and Park Avenue.
